Private Tour - Turtle Farm and Island Highlights

Hi folks,

 

We are going on a Princess cruise which stops at Grand Cayman. We have done the Princess sponsored tour that stops at Hell/Rum factory/Turtle farm, and it was good.

 

We will have my in-laws with us this time (75 yr old each), and were thinking that doing that tour would be great, and perhaps trying to find a local tour operator might be better than the bus experience we had with the Princess tour.

 

Does anyone know if such a private tour exists or is my only option the Princess tour.

Sure, there are private tours that do those sites. Captain Marvins does, I have used them twice, very pleased. However... they do not pick you up at the tender area, you have to make your own way to their office which is about a 3 block walk. Depending how mobile/active your in-laws are, it's not a hard walk (no hills, just sidewalks, down the main street along the water). I wish they did offer pick-up service, I have 2 older ladies in my group and they aren't able to walk the few blocks... have to find a different option for them.

 

I think other tour companies like Nativeway, Moby Dicks and Captain Bryans only offer tours that include the stingrays. Not positive though, so check them out.
