yorkiemomjn Posted August 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2010 Does anyone know how I can find out where the Marina will dock in Copenhagen, or better still, all the ports (where there is more than one choice) on our Baltic cruise: Copenhagen-Warnemunde-Ronne-Gdynia-Visby-Riga-Tallin-St.Petersburg-Helsinki-Stockholm Thanks! Judy:)
Rare LHT28 Posted August 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2010 Might be a bit early but here is CPH webpage http://www.cmport.com/en-GB/Ships%20in%20Port/Cruise%20Ships/Copenhagen.aspx
phillymaps Posted August 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2010 The other Oceania ships dock about 6 blocks from the Little Mermaid statue, and I suspect Marina will be in the same port. Rare LHT28 Posted August 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2010 Here is a site you can find all the port websites then just check the schedules http://www.worldportsource.com/ports/region.14.php We docked at Langelinie (near the Little Mermaid) as a port stop but for disembarkation on Aug 10 we were at Frihavnen a lot further out So things can change

LittleRedJohn Posted August 24, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2010 We just left the Insignia in Copenhagen and spent five delightful days in the city before returning home. The cruise ships dock in one of two places that are close together. Neither is close to the main parts of Copenhagen, and the taxi ride into town is maybe $25 or so. There is also a bus, but I suspect the taxi is much quicker and easier. We had about a 100 foot walk from the gangplank to our luggage and another 100 foot walk to the taxi. Ask if the taxi takes credit cards. Most of them do. Customs was nonexistent. Everything was very convenient.
