Anyone stayed in an inside-inside room?

We’re trying to figure out which room to pick for our upcoming cruise and I noticed that there are a couple of inside rooms that are within an interior hallway available on the Victory, like room 6307 on the Upper deck. Has anyone stayed in one of these rooms before?

Are they any bigger than a regular inside room?

Does the layout make it feel bigger?

Is being above the casino a problem for noise?

Thanks!

Jess

We did two insides a few years ago on Victory. My opinion FWIW is that all rooms are too small but, again I'm a value shopper too. No matter the room get the same show, food and other stuff. They worked for us as we almost never spend time in our room whether a balcony or not and try and enjoy the ship and the ports. I would think the casino not to be as big a problem as say under the disco or pool.

The square-shaped inside rooms do seem bigger. I had my first one on the Carnival Spirit which is a different class of ship but it felt bigger however it was the same square footage in a different layout. I enjoyed it very much.

I think you are right over the casino and that could be a problem and I hope someone who actually stayed in that stateroom might actually comment about that.

I posted the pictures above, but forgot to answer your questions! See answers below:

I'm not sure they were any bigger, but as mentioned in a previous post they sort of feel bigger. The space between the closets & the bathroom in a regular cabin is so tight. In these cabins the closets are along a side wall so you don't get that "narrow corridor" type feeling when you enter the room.

At times you could hear the slot machines & sounds from the casino...but it was pretty faint and not something that was a problem for us.

One advantage to these cabins...the inside hallway is only used to access a few cabins so there is very little noise or traffic to content with.

We were assigned these cabins after booking inside guarantees, but we were happy with them.

Thanks!

Jess
