Amalfi/Positano Ravello Coast

Could someone who has done this tour please tell me about the drive??? Is it all on a road near the edge of the cliff??? I have done the drive from Sorrento to Pompeii and part of that is on the edge of the cliff...Oviously I am not fond of those kind of roads and I don't want to book a private tour if I am going to be terrified for the whole trip.

Agreed however they may enjoy the drive more if they treat themselves to a driver as we did. We just relaxed and watched one spectacular view after the other. Way to go!:)

If you have vertigo try sitting on the far side of the car so you can't look down. Just a thought. A driver would be a must in your case.

How are you with motion sickness? I have done this trip on numerous occasions, and have watched many just toss their cookies.If you are prone to this, just use whatever you do in rough seas.

YES --all driving is mt on one side and cllif (water view on the other) but if u r not driving, there is no problem..sit back and enjoy the gorgeous view.

 

We are trying to get another couple to add to our private guide for Amalfi,Positano and Ravello- including lunch...we dock in Amalfi...

I know for 6 people= the total cost was 380 EUROS

 

the cost of 2 people is 300 eruos

 

no idea what cost for 4 is? I would imagine it is the same 300 EUROS as it is in a car vs a van for 6 people.

This is for the Regatta Ancient Discoveries tour leaving Athens on October 24th...

If you take a bus up to Positano, you would be on the mountain side of the road, then you can catch the boat ride back to Amalfi from the dock in Positano. The boat ride is fun and the view of the coast line is lovely.
