Delayed embarkation for zaandam oct. 1, 2010 sailing

If you're booked on the Zaandam's Oct. 1, 2010 sailing, there will be a delay in embarkation due to some maritime regulations testing that will

conducted onboard the ship.

 

Check in will not open until 2pm

Embarkation will not begin until 4pm

Sailing will be at 6pm

Wow, that's lousy - a short 1 day cruise just lost 4 hours. By not leaving until 6pm they lose valuable daylight for seeing some of the beautiful islands they'll be passing.

Yep, but I will be staying in Vancouver for 2 days after I get off the ship, and then I embark on another ship to go down to San Francisco. So it is disappointing, but at least I am cruising again in 2 days after that.
