we have booked E618 I was hoping you could give us some information if this is an ok Obstructed view or should we try and change. mike4gail@yahoo.com thank for any help you may provide

Here's a website that will tell you all you need to know about the view. From what I can see, you'll be looking at the side of a tender in E618. :(

The pictures on my website are for 99% correct. We just came off the Ruby and when we were on her I checked the view from most of the cabins on Emerald deck and I agree with RickEk that E 618 sadly is one of the most obstructed because of the large tender right in front of the window.

On the bright side, the view is mostly unobstructed when in a port where the tender is used.

We've had a cabin like that on Golden Princess. Thankfully it was only a three day cruise. You do get sunlight and yes, the view is great in a tender port, but do be aware that the crew works around the tenders at various hours. We threw our curtains open one morning just as a crewmember was exiting the tender. Could have been embarrassing. :p

We were told that this room is between two life boats on the Golden I hope that E618 on the Golden does not have a big life boat in our window. I have ask Princess Customer Relations to check on this we do not mind between two boat but do mind a Big life boat in our window, There is still time to change but we did get a real good rate. Thank for all you guys helping us. Michael and Gail

Whoops, sorry, I didn't notice that you were talking about Golden Princess. :o Yes, E618 is between lifeboats. Check out the website mentioned above and you'll see the view. Actually pretty good.
