New to Royal Caribbean

We are booking our 3rd cruise with 2 kiddos 9 and 11. We have cruised Carnival and are considering a change. We are looking at the Southern Caribbean from San Juan in May 2011.

What are the differences between these 2 lines? How is the kids camp etc. Anything that might stand out.

TIA

Don't know about kid's clubs. But be aware that there are two different classes(types) of RCI ships out of San Juan. With children you definitely should book the Adventure instead of the Serenade. There is a lot more for children to do on Adventure.

We have two children (7 & 9) and have been cruising with them since birth. We have gone on both lines and they love both. There are more Carnival Ships with slides, but the Kids Areas are great on either line. I do agree that that there will be more to do on the Adventure over the Serenade. We are going on the Adventure out of San Juan in January!

Cheers and Happy Crusing!

Looks like they are moving the Adventurer on May 1st and the Serenade is the only option in May. Should we look elsewhere sothe kids will not be board.

Thanks for all of your help!!
