What time should we arrive at port??

We are all first time cruisers sailing on the Freedom on 09/19 out of Port Everglades. We have arranged transportation with a limo company, and I have the pickup scheduled for around 9:45 AM or 10:00 AM, is this to early or to late?

 

Would love to hear from the experts as to what time we should arrive at the port. The earlier we can start our cruise the better!! :D

I typically try to get to the port at about 10:30 or so. You're right there in the ball park!

Early check in will get you a low zone number and on to the ship earlier!

You might have to wait a little longer to get on the ship if you get there earlier than say 2 pm but this way your vacation starts earlier.

Where are you being picked up from and how long does it take to the terminal?? Without knowing that ... we dont know when you plan on arriving.

 

I typically like to arrive between 10:30 and 11 am (but admit Iv gotten there before 10:30 at times, like on Triumph, shuttle choice was 10 or 11 am ...so I went at 10 am.

 

Only one time was I not eating lunch on Lido before noon.

Sorry! We are staying at the Springhill Suites in Dania Beach. I think we are only a few miles away from Port Everglades.

Like Mach said 10:30 am for a 4:00 pm sailing and 12 noon for a 10:00 pm sailing......the sooner you get on the better. I always go early!
