edgeman61 Posted September 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2010 My DW and I are taking the Spirit out of NOLA for a 7N W. Caribbean cruise. We went to NCL's site to book our excursions, we selected the ones we wanted and thought we would be charged at an online checkout (like another Cruiseline we have used). We have a confirmation that we are booked for these excursions but when do we pay? We would be disapointed if these excursions sold out and we lost our place due to not having a paid, secured reservation. Thanks for any input. negn Posted September 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2010 Not billed until you get on the ship. And you can cancell if you change your mind (48 hrs ahead)
spacepotatoes Posted September 9, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2010 Your excursions will show up as charges on your onboard account. You don't have to pay for them in advance, just at the end of your cruise.

Thanks for any input. big difference between NCL and RCI, with RCI, you reserve an excursion and it goes on your credit card immediately. With NCL, the charge goes on your on-board account. NMLady Posted September 10, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 10, 2010 Your edocs will show the excursion(s) you've booked, but as others here have said, NCL doesn't charge your credit card but puts the charge on your shipboard account instead.
