Double stroller onboard the EPIC??

Have any who have sailed the EPIC already brought a double side-by-side stroller onboard??

 

We own this --> http://us.pegperego.com/babyproducts-catalog/2010/Aria+Twin+60-40

 

But were not sure if we should purchase this slimmer (but longer) back-to-back one --> http://www.babytrend.com/sit_n_stand/ in the 38 hours we have left until we board the EPIC. W00T!!

Not to make you spend more money, but you'd be a lot better off with the in-line double. There are a lot of narrow spaces, including hallways, that would make navigation with a double-wide difficult.

I would recommend back to back stroller in that some tight spots will be both hard on you and other guest, especially in hallways going to your cabin. Have fun

I would recommend leaving the kids at home...thats what I do!! LOL

But seriously, you are going to have a hard time navigating corridors and elevators with that stroller.

With respect and as the uncle of triplets, I would suggest the above. Just a couple of inexpensive 'umbrella' types.

Is it too late to check out some garage sales? Try the second hand shops, you might get a couple of the umbrella strollers, really cheap and then it won't hurt so bad to just dispose of them when you get home.

Yea sailed about 3 weeks ago on 9/11 - 9/18. Actually glad we bought the Sit and Stand which has both kids back to back. There were some narrow hallways where we wouldn't have been able to navigate with our usual side-by-side Peg Perego 60/40 double stroller.

Geez, I would not take a stroller at all! I would carry the younguns. The stroller has to be a hassle and a half in the crowds. Think Black Friday at the Mall.

 

But if you have to bring one, get the narrowest width available.

There are many elderly senior citizens aboard a ship. While you may expect many of the younger crowd to make room for you to pass in the long halls with your stollers, when you come across my wife and her walker you will be making way for her. She won't give an inch... LOL...

 

When the stewards have their carts in the halls, it will be a tight squeeze with strollers. I agree, I think it will be best to carry your children if they can't walk yet on the ship...

 

Also keep in mind in foreign ports there aren't as many smooth sidewalks either. Lots of steps and stones and paths with tree roots, not pavement... Ask my dear wife with her walker...
