Cruise went down $100 Whoo Hoo

I just called and they are refunding my credit card $100 for the adjustment!! :) I can use that money to buy some onboard portraits!

 

After September 21st if the rate goes down any further I will be entitled to a cabin upgrade they told me.

 

So I saved $100 plus got 20% off at the dolphin encounter today! It's a good day! :D

Congrats to you! Always keep checking and if you don't see a drop ask for one anyway. :D If you're not handed an upgrade ask for one of those too. :D Never hurts to ask. :D

It all depends on the cruise line and whether or not you are seeing the price drop after final payment.

 

Sometime you get a refund back to your credit card other times you get an on-board-credit (OBC). If you let us know which cruise line your next cruise is on, we can give you a better idea how it works.

Always keep checking back with the price. If you book through a TA make sure you work with them to get you the lowest possible price before paying. I just saved $600/person on my next cruise so it pays to keep alert.

No.

If the price drops before final payment, they will adjust your "contract". They adjust the amount you will owe them at the time of final payment.

 

I just got a $240.00 drop today....

on TWO cabins = $480 !!
