Bowie MeMe Posted September 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2010 The Washington Post travel section had a nice article on Quebec City in the Sunday Sept. 12, 2010 edition. The link did not print so all you have to do is Google Washington Post travel Quebec City and it pops up. Looks like we will have a fine time in Old Quebec City. TIA It's tough not to love the Frontenac, beautiful, great location, great view, tons of history. You'll have a blast. It's easy to walk to everything in the old city, right by the little central park. There is a good Creppery (spl) for breakfast right behind the hotel. There are a million restaurants. We had dinner right by the old church which was good, and another good dinner at 'the ancient canadians' which I highly reccomend. It's two blocks up from the Frontenac, bright red roof, can't miss it. Try the Maple Syrup Pie. MAKE RESERVATIONS! Have a Great time! We always do! wilsonqbc Posted September 15, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 15, 2010 a liitle secret for you If you want to pay a tad more but well worth it. Not far from the Chateau is a small restaurant Called, the Saint Amour 5 min walk from the chateau, not cheap, about 60.00 for a full course meal (each) all included. but everything there is amazing, I have no ties to this place, but when I want to treat my Gfriend I go there, there are yes zillions of others on St Louis street, most are all very good too.
