We rented a car in Bonaire and are renting again for February. It is easy driving...not many marked roads but I think there is only one road around the island. Rent a car!!! We rented from Divi Flamingo(Hertz) which is about a 5 minute walk to the right once off the pier. $40 for the day. We went snorkelling and in our drive we had to stop while the wild donkeys and goats crossed the road...we then took a drive to the saltflats to see the flamingoes then more snorklelling. It is a small island...we took our time and still had the car back an hour before we had to leave. Just follow the road and you will circle the island in no time!

Roads are in good condition.

We've rented a few times on bonaire and it's a fantastic way to spend the day.

We always used Budget at the airport. They simply picked us up and brought us back.

It's an extremely easy island to navigate. Make sure to stop at the salt flats and Jibe City. Don't miss the other side of the island as well.

I LOVE Bonaire and one day will get to it on a land vacation.
