ab0si Posted September 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2010 Assuming cruise ships are near the ferry port, you will be right in town. The Basilica of San Nicola is "right there."

jocap Posted September 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2010 There is a memorial in the docks to the Allies killed by bombing in WW2, including the sinking of some US ships. I was on the 1st cruise ship to call at Bari, on the Aurora, in 2007. there was a shuttle bus to the centre of town. We walked to St Nicholas, then made our way back the short distance to the docks- no problems. Jo.
