Price drop on sold out rooms

Is there any way to tell if there is a price drop on a room that is sold out in that category? Or are there even price drops for sold out categories? I had booked a promenade state room on Allure about six months ago for Aug 2011 and now that category comes up as not available when I go to check price.

Doubtfull, if they are not offering a cabin range, there is no reason why they should drop the price. Unless some of these are held on block and might be returned for sale nearer the sailing date.

No prices for sold out cabin categories so of course there can be no price drop

If a category sells out more than a month before sailing the line should have the ability to raise the price retroactively since the category was clearly under-priced.

Maybe it's the inside category and it's all anyone can afford because everything else is priced insanely.
