SoCalCruzzing Posted September 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2010 Just wondering if you could book a Future cruise booking whilst on board and have it charged to your sign and sail pass, that way you could use OBC to pay for the deposits. Anyone know if this is possible or do you always have to give a credit card over for th bookings on board the ship?
M&M Hayden Posted September 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2010 I think they prefer you put it on a credit card, that way if you have to cancel they have the credit card # on file to credit the deposit amount back to. I would use the same credit card for both so it really wouldn't matter.
Sue L Posted September 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2010 No you may not use OBC for a next cruise, you must provide a cc #
Ashland Posted September 26, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2010 I have used the same credit card for my SeaPass account that I used for my onboard future cruise deposit and it's a separate charge..does not show up on your SeaPass account....or have anything to do with it..So no to the OBC question....Usually on my Amex statement SeaPass will show up with the name of the ship and future cruise deposit shows as Royal Caribbean.... cruisenfever Posted September 26, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2010 The only way an OBC can pay for a deposit from booking on board is if you have unused refundable OBC and use the same credit card on file when making the booking.
