Caribbean Princess Adult Pools?

At the pool yes, but parents still brought children into the Jacuzzis even though there were signs stating "Adults Only" while employees just stood there.

Has anyone ever seen an employee enforce an "Adults Only" rule? What does it take to get them to enforce the rules? Why are they so lax? While they may not get the offender mad, they risk getting more people mad by not doing anything, especially when they obviously see the infraction.

I guess I will never understand why people don't obey posted signs. If it says adults only it means just that. When my kids were little I would have never taken them into a pool that was for adults only. Just wait till those parents kids are all grown up and they want to go to an adults pool and then someone with kids decides to break the rules and bring their kids. Like it says adult pool, if you want your kids to be with you go hang out in the kids pool.

Probably because the parents will start yelling at them and accused them of harrassment and are afraid to lose their jobs. Other times security will tell the parents to remove the children from the pool. Then the parents simply ignore the request.

We saw a staff member enforce the rule at the spa pool on the Crown last spring. The worst was when we were on the Sun Princess. The adult pool on it is next to the other pool. We did chase two young boys away from the hot tub we were in, but they just went over to another one.

I just dont understand this. We brought the kids last time and stayed away from the adult pool. The kids even asked to go in the jacuzzi one evening when there were other kids in the adult pool area and we said 'no'.

This time the kids are going to be home with grandparents and we are on an adults only trip and are hoping to just relax in peace at the terrace pool without our kids or anybody else's (after we put towels and books on the chairs at 6am, go to the casino, nap, etc., then return to them later ;))

I hope someone steals your towels and tears the last 3 pages out of your book.

Fine, the next time I travel with kids and want to be a chair hog, I will leave the kids in my chairs at the adult pool all day to reserve my space. Then they can go off to the kids' clubs when I am ready to be at the adult pool.

I wish I had the guts to just toss people's towels, books, magazines, etc. when they do that.

There were yellow shirted "youth security" going around on Grand Princess last month, especially in the evening to stop the kids running riot.

We had a problem once with children in the adult pool on a P&O ship. The "youth crew" made them get out.

We had an incident last March on the Emerald where we took over some chairs that had been vacant for two hours. Thirty minutes later, the "owners" showed up and pitched a fit. We and the people around us laughed them off the pool deck. It was great!
