How to get to Dollar Car Rental at Port Everglades

We have booked a car with Dollar after our cruise as our flight is not until late evening. When we get off the boat, how do we get to Dollar, is there a shuttle?

Yes, there will be a shuttle bus that takes you to the car rental center for all pickups at Fort Lauderdale airport;)

Has anyone managed to take the rental car shuttle from the ship, after disembarking in the morning?

I heard a report that the shuttles do not pick up from the port area until after 11am, as they are too busy dropping passengers off at the ship.

Has anyone managed to take the rental car shuttle from the ship, after disembarking in the morning?

I heard a report that the shuttles do not pick up from the port area until after 11am, as they are too busy dropping passengers off at the ship.

 

Actually we had the opposite experience - we wanted to get on the shuttle early at the airport to go to the port but were told they do not start bringing pax to the port until they were all done bringing the disembarking pax to the airport.

 

We were able to get right on the shuttle to the airport when we disembarked.
