Dinner reservations for Thanksgiving

I have tried to make dinner reservations online for the Pinnacle Grill on Thanksgiving but it seems like the date is not available. Has anyone else had this problem? We will be on the Volendam cruise.

Yes -- we were told a couple of years when we tried to do this that they will not alloq any reservations to be made until you are on the ship for any holiday.

 

Happened to us a couple of years in a row.

I will be traveling during Thanksgiving on the Zuiderdam. Are there usually special meals for the Thanksgiving holiday?

The times we have sailed over Thanksgiving they always served a traditional turkey dinner in addition to other menu choices. We have always enjoyed it.

 

Of course, every family has their own traditions and the ship can't anticipate all of them but they do a really nice job, IMO

We were on the Zuiderdam last year Nov. We made our reservations for the Pinnacle on Thanksgiving immediately after we boarded. The main dining room served a traditional turkey dinner but we decided on something completely different since we thought their turkey dinner wouldn't be like home. The waiter in the Pinnacle offered to add turkey to the entree we had ordered .
