First time Carnival /First time Tampa?

We have a flight arriving at 1105 am on the day of our cruise. What is best option for arrival to port. Sounds like the cabs are very easy to catch. How long would we potentially have to wait for the carnival transfers and would we be making stops along the way?

Also are the cabs as easy to catch from the port back to the airport we have a 1200 pm flight on departure day!

When you disembark the cabs will be waiting at the entrance to the port.

There will be a queue of taxis lined up right outside of baggage claim. The rate is a flat $25 plus tip for up to 4 passengers. The port is only 9 or 10 miles away. :)

Lots of cabs waiting for you at both the airport and cruise port - the ride takes 10-15 minutes depending upon traffic and lights. Good luck!:)

I would not take the Carnival transfer! We did that a couple of times & were disappointed. They keep you sitting at the airport until they have enough people to fill a bus, then start loading you in the bus. When you get to the port, they don't let you off the bus until they have emptyed all the luggage. You will get to the port much quicker by taking a taxi & for less money.
