traveld Posted September 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2010 We're booked on an upcoming Insignia cruise and my husband has to have his soda. We usually bring our own onboard so I'm trying to find out if there really was unlilmited, complimentary sodas and bottled water on the Insignia as promoted in the advertising for their Europe sailings this year for everyone, not only those in balcony or suites. Do we need to bring our own, or is it complimentary now? Have the cabins been outfitted with mini refrigerators? Can anyone confirm? Really appreciate the feedback. Thanks

Thanks Yes, there is unlimited soda in each cabin. The cabins have mini refrigerators and everyday they refill what is missing. I am not a soda drinker, but my husband drinks club soda. Once they saw that the club soda was missing, they made sure he had a good supply every day. He was one happy camper :D Ronnie

calvin81 Posted September 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Below concierge cabins there are no fridges, but they just put a few cans out and of course kept the ice bucket filled.
Rare LHT28 Posted October 1, 2010 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2010 I think after the refurbishment in November all the cabins will have fridges but you can get your TA to check

rhohea Posted October 1, 2010 #8 Share Posted October 1, 2010 You can request a fridge for your cabin. They do have a few spare on the ship but my understanding is that these are used for people who need them for medications etc that need to be kept in a fridge at low temps. Not sure if a doctors certificate is needed. I booked mine direct with Oceania but need it for the above reason and emailed them a medical certicifate stating why I need it and what for. My cabin normally would not have had a fridge.
