celtcruiser Posted October 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2010 Forgive me if this has been posted before, just read about this last night. The the large structure on the pier at OSJ is being taken down. Apparently Royal Caribbean funded the original construction, but the Carnival Dream couldn't fit next to it. http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9IJLRT00.htm
Cruising89143 Posted October 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2010 RCI did in part pay for the new pier. Here are a couple of photos of the sculpture that is being taken down.
schmoopie17 Posted October 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2010 As I asked on the previous thread on this subject ( several messages below this one)...does this mean RCCL could begin docking there? Sure would be nice to not have to go to Pan Am...

Pan American will continue to be used for that.
