Final payment date?

We sail January 2 2011, when is our final payment due.

It should say on your RCI Confirmation. We are sailing Jan 16 and our final is due NOV 2, so if you are sailing 2 weeks before us then your final should be due around Oct 19. Check with your TA. FYI Princess and Cunard are now canceling bookings if the final payment is not made on or before the due date. They are not allowing any extensions of final payments and only 1 extension of the original option.

Q: When is the final payment for my cruise vacation due?

 

A: Final payment of the balance must be received at Royal Caribbean's offices at least 60 days prior to the sailing date for 3, 4, or 5-night cruise vacations and 75 days prior to the sailing date for 7-night or longer cruise vacations. The payment schedule for groups is different from that of individuals. You will usually have access to your cruise documents 30 days prior to your sailing as long as your reservation is finalized.

 

For all holiday sailings, (Christmas and New Year's), payment is due 90 days prior to sailing.

At 70 days out, our TA sends us an e-mail saying that the final payment will be due (DATE). He always apologizes, but we have told him that we actually CELEBRATE having to make the final payment, as it means WOO-HOO....getting so close we can smell the ocean breeze and fruity, frozen drinks.

We sail Jan. 2 also and our final is due Oct. 19.
