Sony pocket ereader

Sony has their own store you can purchase books from, they range from free to about $12.99. I also check out digital books from the library. I got mine a few weeks ago specifically for my upcoming cruise and have been very happy with it. It's easy to tuck in my purse to keep handy for any downtime I have, and I have found the books to be very reasonable.

No, if you want books on an ereader from Amazon, you have to buy their Kindle. I've not checked out the Sony reader...you might want to compare bookstores and see which has more of the kind of books you prefer. There is also the Nook, which is sold by Barnes and Noble, and you can only buy books for the Nook from them.
