The Dream details

Pay attention to the space ratio. And remember on the newer ships there are more types of larger cabins and other exclusive areas that are not usable by most passengers.

The Dream and Magic, along with their peers on the other cruise lines (Epic, Oasis) are going to feel a lot more crowded than the older ships.

The draw is more variety and entertainment. You will have to be the judge if you prefer lots of action to quiet times at sea. I know I am not a fan of the newer ships, but that's just my view. Lots of folks would gladly trade space and comfort for better shows and more things to do onboard.
