Where to hang out before tendering back

Where is a good bar to hang out and drink beer before you catch the tender back to the ship?

 

We are cruising on the Miracle out of Tampa on May 1

If you want local flavor and don't want to pay $10 per drink, then head on down the main drag past Hard Rock a block or two and then take left. About another two blocks down is a cool local bar with reasonable prices.

Are either of these two places still there: Paradise Reef something (purple roof) & Big Bamboo Brew Pub? If not where are the reasonably riced beers? Seems everything on CG is always high priced. Whihc way should you walk from the tenders?
