Does a twelve pack of flavored water count as "soda" or can we bring a twelve pack of soda also. thanks for your help.

according to carnival faq:

On embarkation day, guests may bring a small quantity (package of 12 per person) of non-alcoholic beverages onboard, only in their carry-on luggage.

 

the water will be counted as a non-alcoholic beverage just like soda

Or you can try those flavor packets. Everyone from Crystal Light to Kool-ade makes them now and they are easier to pack since it's just a little box.

that is my suggestion also. the crystal light packets are great and so much cheaper in the long run and less weight too lug around.

I like the sugar free sparkling grape water. I can drink it as water, soda, or add to my wine for a spritzer. :D
