They listed some in cancun and grand cayman - of course, not hitting those ports next month! Pretty sure you can get day passes to these places.

 

For my honeymoon we went to a hotel that had a swimup pool bar - needless to say everyone was burnt from the waist up.

I was thinking that too. Plus, I notice a couple of them are near San Juan which would make a good pre-cruise or post-cruise stay there.:)

I have been to places that have nice swim up bars but the problem is the empty & half full glass everywhere. It gets to be a mess, especially the pools that have islands in the middle...

I had a serious conversation about swim up bars, and the viability of them on cruise ships, with a very senior pesron at RC only a couple of months ago.

The main reason why P bars ( as he called them ) have never been considered as suitable for Royal, is because of the number of times the pool area has to be closed. Because people decide that they can drink and drink and not pay the necessary trips to the rest rooms as maybe they should.:eek:
