mafig Posted February 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2005 Probably going to book the Jewel tomorrow. Based on your experience, what would be the best location since the minis are on deck 11? If aft (my favorite) isn't available, would I be better forward under the spa area vs. under the pool (mid ship) or toward the back (under the buffet). I know I asked a similar question, but in looking at my title, I think I'll get more responses, with this one.
Dolphins Posted February 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2005 I would suggest midships between the pool and the buffet where you will have less motion and noise.
mafig Posted February 21, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted February 21, 2005 Thanks, Dolphins. I was concerned about the noise coming from the pool and buffet areas. Also, there appears there is an overhang in this mid section. Anyone know?
Dolphins Posted February 21, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2005 Thanks, Dolphins. I was concerned about the noise coming from the pool and buffet areas. Also, there appears there is an overhang in this mid section. Anyone know? Yes, there is a nice overhang over the central mini-suites which helps filter the noise from above and also keeps any items on your veranda dry in even the heaviest downpours. mafig Posted February 21, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted February 21, 2005 Dolphins, (or anyone who has a deck plan for Jewel): I have a courtesy hold for 11070. How does this look to you? It's near the stairs and elevators, so above there is also stairs and elevators, which would mean I would avoid the chair scraping of the pool deck and buffet. Hopefuly these deck plans are reasonably accurate.
