Hi, all,

 

I know it's still a ways off, but my partner and I just booked this trip. Any other CC members already booked or thinking about it? Anyone out there who has already done it and who has suggestions?

 

We're planning to fly through Tokyo first and spend several days there before going on to Hong Kong to connect with the ship, so any suggestions on nice and convenient hotels in Tokyo would be welcomed.

imo the two best hotels in Tokyo at the moment are the Peninsula (choice number one) and teh Mandarin Oriental. The Peninsula is better located and is truly a great property, very close to everything you'll want to see and convenient to get around.
