Mary Ellen Posted November 11, 2010 #26 Share Posted November 11, 2010 That will be an 8pm seating; correct? Main upper seating is at 8 p.m.Are we going to miss any show start if we choose to dine at that time (given that someone has suggested 2 hours to dine)? You should be able to see the shows. Can we just skip it and go to the free for all dining (or whatever it's called :p)? You can change to open seating, but that means you will be in open seating for the remainder of the cruise. You can't switch back and forth.I see the Lido is an alternative that is recommended; we can eat there any time of the evening? Any time the Lido is open for service. Hours will be in the Daily Program. Do let your waiters and/or tablemates know ahead of time if you plan on dining in the Lido. That way service won't be held up waiting for you to arrive. KirkNC Posted November 11, 2010 #29 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Wow spies and politicians, not sure which one is worse. :p Sorry they have messed up your dining plans. I agree with other posters that HAL should not rearrange confirmed seatings of individuals to accommodate a large group. Kirk
moggi1964 Posted November 11, 2010 #30 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Thanks Moggi.......you have a great cruise too. I'm hazarding a guess you have a Scottish connection? :) Born in Greenock; brought up near Dunfermline, then moved to England. Came to the USA 6 years ago and would return home tomorrow if I could :( Won't you be getting off the ship as I queue to get on? I'll wave if a see a Scot
madcat444 Posted November 11, 2010 Author #31 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Kirk.......I would much rather be onboard with the spies. Lesser of two evils in my book!! *LOL* Moggi....yes, we might pass in the line. I see you're in NJ now. Don't you like it? My cousin lives outside Boston now and they love it. I'm over a couple times a year and really enjoy it too. :D
moggi1964 Posted November 12, 2010 #32 Share Posted November 12, 2010 I miss Europe; London in particular. Different culture here and it doesn't suit me. C'est la vie! ;)
