Gary Brierley?

We will be cruising next week on the Glory. Gary Brierley is the CD. We have never cruised with Gary before. Has anyone cruised with Gary? What are your feelings/experience?

I was on her in dec, I am not sure who it was. But I was never bored. I always find stuff to do. Hope someone can tell you. But the glory is a great ship. Jo

Gary was very recently the Cruise Director onboard Carnival Destiny.

I'm sure he did a fine job, but he's one of the few I think will be totally forgetable to me.

We are going on the Glory in Feb is he still going to be the CD?

I don't think so. He gets off when we do on the 14th of November. The schedule is only out through December but you can check it out here:

It kind of looks like Jorge S is going to be the CD if it follows the same pattern..any on know anything on him?

I have had Gary the last 2 years on the Valor and most recently on the Destiny. We enjoyed him very much, always lots of activities to choose from. He is also very approachable if you have questions or concerns.

We just cuised the Glory on the Oct 17 th sailing. Gary was the CD. Did not hear much out of him. Saw him in the Amber Palace several times. One thing I did like was there were not so many ship announcements over the speakers all the time.

From what I understand, Jorge is a lot of fun and very funny, too. I'll see him very soon. :)

I was on the Glory in May. Jorge was the CD, Gary was the ACD. I loved Jorge, but I thought Gary was annoying (His voice grated on me, he told jokes that weren't funny, etc). However, a CD shouldn't make or break your cruise experience.
