9-night formal Valentine's Day?

Hi everyone!

 

I'm wondering if anyone's ever sailed when Valentine's Day falls in the middle of the week and if they made that a formal night? I'm on a 9-night Feb 11-20 and wondering if they might move one of the formal nights, add one, or neither. Any experiences or thoughts?

 

Any excuse to shop for more dresses... :D

Hi we are on the Victory over Valentine's day and I plan on treating it as a dress up nite regardless of what they do on the ship. That day is for Romance and we always do something special so being on the ship will just add to it for us. In fact that is why I booked this trip so we could celebrate in a big way. Can't wait. My countdown clock is down to 105 days. Hoping for double digits real soon. Have fun and enjoy the nite any way you want.:)

Sorry- your formal night will not be on Valentines day (2011)

You are in a port until 6pm that night- no way will carnival add another one for this night.

We sail every year for Valentines day. Depends on when it falls. Formal

night is always the first day at sea. We always received a red carnation at dinner

We sail for Valentines Day too, but we dress up regardless.
