Does anyone know if there is a self service laundry on the ship?

No, there is not. But laundry services are fairly reasonably priced.

 

With the casualness of the ship, you can still get by packing lightly, and getting a shirt or two, or pair of pants, laundered during your cruise

Agree with Wendy. We have been on PG twice before (and another trip scheduled for next year) and used the laundry service extensively. The prices were very much in line with our local cleaners and not the high rates typically charged at a luxury hotel.

Thanks for the info. That was my concern. We are going on the 14day Presidents from Auckland and I can't possibly pack enough clothes to last the whole trip. It is our first time on PG so i'm having problems imagining not having to pack formal clothes. :confused:

Take MUCH LESS clothing that you THINK you will need. The laundry service is fine and I never wear as much as I think I will.
