Port Everglades Embark lines

Hi Everyone,

 

I saw somewhere either on here or Hollands site that they have 3 lines at the port to embark. The lines stated 1.) Penthouse/Deluxe Verandah, 2.) Non US, 3.) All other guests. My question is that it mentions Deluxe Verandah, does that include a VB catagory or is it just for suites?

Deluxe Suites are not all 'suites'- just SA, SB, SC.

What abour 4-star Mariners? Isn't there supposed to be a separate check-in line for them?

I hate having to tell you this... But none of the V category qualify for line 1. sorry.

 

4 star go into Line 1. I think I remember reading that they are then escorted onto the ship seperately, but I could be wrong...

On our recent cruises -- the 4 start Mariners were called after the PS guests were escorted onto the ship and the Deluxe Suite Passengers were called.

 

VB -- you will get a number when you enter the terminal as to when you can get onto the ship.

Last Saturday there were only two lines. The Suite folks went one direction and everyone else the other. If they escorted the folks on the ship, I am unsure. They did only use one gangway on.

In 2008 we were escorted by a nice gentlemen (greeter?) to the senior section where there were lots of people in wheelchairs. It was a separate waiting area with lots of chairs like an airport boarding area. Took us less than 20 mins to get us all photographed and signed up. We had 2 strollers, a baby and 3 kids under 4 with us. In 2009 we went with the masses in the line. Not sure about this December. So was it just a fluke and some nice guy leading us in 2008 and gave us a break? This year, it will be 2 strollers, 1 baby and 3 kids under 6. Wonder where we will go.

Deluxe Suites are not all 'suites'- just SA, SB, SC.

All SA, SB & SC are Deluxe Suites and qualify for priority boarding. SS, SY & SZ are Superior Suites, and do not.
