Promenade Interior on the Voyager...suggestions?

We always book either a balcony or at least an oceanview for our cruises, however we're considering a Promenade Interior on the Voyager. What are your opinions, and does anyone have a specific room they like and why? Thanks!

I would say anywhere on decks 7 or 8 between 8275-8297...or on portside 8575-8597. My first cruise we were in a promenade and loved it! I couldn't tell you which one now. But we were almost dead center; great view. No noise either.

Personally I liked deck 7 about midship, across from the Promenade Cafe so that I could peek down there and see how many people were there and then decide whether or not to run down to get coffee in my jammies!!

Don't forget to close the curtains. People can see in as well as you can see out. :eek:

We have had 3 Promenade rooms on three different Voyager class ships. Always get deck 8 as close to the center of the Promenade as possible. We have loved every one.

we did this once on fos, not sure if i would do again. room layout is not the best. bed kept getting in the way.

We had a promenade cabin on Deck 7 on AOS last year and loved it. To me, it seemed more spacious than a regular inside cabin (maybe it is):confused: We were mid promenade on the same side as the Promenade Cafe. I loved sitting on that window bench watching the "traffic" on the promenade. As somebody mentioned previously, just make sure you pull the curtains when you're getting dressed/undressed (or whatever)! :D

Thanks all for your suggestions! Right now only rooms on the 6th floor are available...was hoping for the 7th or 8th floor. Would like to be around the Promenade Cafe but not too close to the Pig and Whistle Pub. What block of rooms would that be in?

Check out this web site. http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Main/virtualtours.php You can pull a ship layout and then drag one deck over the other to check out locations:eek:. You can which cabin is above or below something.

That's cool...going to look at it now. We tried printing out the deck plans and laying them over each other, but I still was confused! :rolleyes:
