cctimmom Posted November 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2010 I'm sorry if this is posted elsewhere... couldn't find it by searching (needle in a haystack using search words tip and Oasis)... :p How does tipping work on Oasis? Can you put it against your SeaPass or do you need cash?

Can you put it against your SeaPass or do you need cash? You don't need to search for anything concerning the Oasis. Royal Caribbean's policies and practices do not vary according to the ship. You can pay before you go on your cruise. You can fill out a form on board to have your SeaPass charged for your gratuities. You can give cash directly to your headwaiter, waiter, assistant waiter and cabin steward.
cctimmom Posted November 13, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted November 13, 2010 thanks... what made me post was reading someone's review in the Oasis section. They said that paying for tips on Oasis was different than Disney that you could not pay using your SeaPass. I had been on Enchantment a couple years back and have no recollection of using cash, but didn't know if they meant that Oasis was different from other ships too. Figured I would ask to get clarification. Thanks again...

I'm not sure which one of you was wrong (no offense!) but you certainly may use your Sea Pass account to pay for tips. Many people do and it is often more convenient than having to have cash. As stated though, your choice. We have done both.
