10ormore Posted November 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2010 Has anybody stayed in stateroom 9656 on the Radiance? I'm trying to get a sense as to the size. (no size listed on the online TA) How would it compare to the grand suite? Thanks.
cb at sea Posted November 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2010 That's the Royal Family suite....HUGE, compared to a GS! You'll LOVE it!
BILL-WI Posted November 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2010 What do you mean compare? A GS has a living area and a sleeping area all in in one open space. 9656 is a RFS and has 2 bedroom areas and a living area. The bedrooms are separated from the living area by walls that are some-what soundproof. The balcony is a very nice size and will hold 4 people in lounge chairs comfortably. cruisenfever Posted November 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2010 Has anybody stayed in stateroom 9656 on the Radiance?I'm trying to get a sense as to the size. (no size listed on the online TA) How would it compare to the grand suite? Thanks. This is what is listed in a 2009-2010 brochure that I am looking at. Royal Family Suite(now classifed as a Two Bedroom Suite): (7562, 8668, 9656) Two bedrooms with twin beds that convert to queen-size beds (one room with third and fourth Pullman beds), two bathrooms (one with shower, one with bathtub), living area with double sofa bed, private balcony and concierge service. (533-586 sq.ft. balcony 139-193 sq. ft.)
JJ2sail Posted November 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2010 I have seen all of them and stayed in 8668 on Radiance. The Deck 9 RFS is actually the smallest, and the deck 7 is the biggest. But it's opposite with the balconies, deck 9 balcony is bigger than deck 7. If that makes sense? There are pictures of the deck 8 cabin in my webshots albums. The deck 9 livingroom will be small, more of a rectangle, instead of a triange.
PantherFan Posted November 17, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) It is a great room, perfect for 4 people. We had for Alaska and had 3 people in the room. Edited November 17, 2010 by PantherFan

PantherFan Posted November 17, 2010 #9 Share Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) I tried to attach a link but I got **********'d out Maybe that site is no longer allowed to be posted on here. Try googling stateroom photographs, I'm sure you will find some photos that way. That is were I generally start, google seems to work very well for that Edited November 17, 2010 by PantherFan
