How long does it take to go from Lax to the cruise port in long beach and from long beach to Lax.

If I remember correctly, about 35 to 40 minutes.

Depends on the time of day. Pre morning rush hour or after 8PM maybe 30-35 minutes (or most times on weekends). Mid morning weekdays could be 45 min to an hour. Evening rush hour (4-7PM) could be over an hour. All assumes no accidents which slow traffic further. But you will be a bit against the major traffic flow as most commuters on the 405 are coming from the south to the north in the morning and visa versa in the evening. And LAX is before the big stall from Marina Del Rey to the Valley in the evening.
