Taxi cost/availability Question

Ill be flying into Fort lauderdale in Jan. and staying at the Renisance on 17th. How much would a cab be and how available are they? We are a group of 8 and want to see if it would be better/cheaper to take 4 taxis or a Van service.

Depending upon luggage you could probably do 3 cabs, or two mini-van cabs; from FLL the fare should be under $15 per cab - probably a better deal and faster service than you will get from any van shuttle service. Good luck! :)

8 people easily will work in van taxis. Have your hotel flag them down in the morning or you can prearrange with them too. THere are tons of cabs on 17th st running back and forth on the morning of departures. ;)

we have paid $14.00 which included the tip when the taxi takes credit cards

and $15.00 including tip whe we have paid cash.
