Can we bring unopened bottles of wine onboard?

You are allowed to bring wine and champagne aboard. If you take it to the dining room they can charge you corkage of $15 I think. Our last cruise I had a small trolley case with 4 wine and 3 champagne in it. I carried it on as hand luggage.

We bring it on to drink in the cabin or balcony.

I was wondering, can we bring unopened bottles of wine on the ship with us? Would we keep it in our stateroom and bring a bottle to dinner with us? Is there a corkage fee? My husband and I are traveling to the W. Carribbean on 12/4/10. Thanks :)

We checked in a case of wine with our luggage on the Coral this month. We but on a luggage tag and it was delivered to our room. We had room service send up fresh wine glasses every day and took a glass with us down to dinner. No questions asked. There were always a few folks like us in the elevators with a glass of wine.
