BCN - Airport to Cruise Port

We are 2 adults in our 30's travelling in January from Barcelona. We are no staying in Barcelona as have visited many times.

 

Apart from a taxi, what is an economical option Airport to port...?

I personally would take a taxi. We took one when we arrived in BCN to our hotel on Las Ramblas and then we took one to the port from our hotel. They're always waiting and you don't have to look for someone in particular.

Can anyone recommend a hotel near the port and convenient to the airport? We'll be going out of Barcelona next September.:)

We are arriving on the day of our cruise from Madrid on Jan 14. I am also looking for a good option from airport to cruiseport. Too bad the Aerobus do not stop at the bottom of Las Rambus, than we can catch the Blue bus to the port.

From airport to port there is no better option than simply grabbing a taxi. It is fast, reasonable (about 30 Euros max) and comfortable. Using the aerobus or other transfers into the city still means you would need a taxi to the port and in the end would cost more than simply taking the taxi from the airport.

you may save a couple of euros by taking the train from airport to Sants station (20 min) and taxi from there (another 10 to 15 min). probably not worth it.

Hi - we are also departing on the 14th.....!

 

The bus stops at Placa Catalunya. You could walk from there to where the blue bus is....if you don't have too much luggage. I travel lighter each time we go to Europe. It really helps!

If a taxi is only E30 - then this seems to be a simple solution, rather than taking 2 buses/trains - for the sake of saving prob not even E10.

We will be flying in from Madrid at around 10:30 to 11:00 to terminal 1. If you are arriving around the same time, why don't we meet and share a taxi to cruise port? We won't have too much luggage, just one big and one small carry-on each.

 

We are on the same roll-call for meet and greet.

Sounds good to me... We also have 1 case each plus a carry on (typical airline restrictions for one bag...!)

 

Lets make plans a couple of days before so we can arrange to meet up...

 

No worries if not, E30 is not a huge amount...
