Hi ! I would likee to know the cost of a taxi or other safe trasnpotation from Cape Town Airport to the port.

We stayed at a hotel right near the V&A Waterfront where Princess docks. A taxi was about $40 or 50.

I don't know. We were in such a tizzy after the crazy problems with our flights, I am not even sure how long it took the taxi to get there. I think 30 minutes or so.

I remember it was about 30 minutes from airport to our hotel which was downtown, fairly close to the port

Just returned from Capetown off the Ocean Princess. You should pay 200 Rand for that trip (which is about $30). The safest taxis are those with a number alongside the roof Taxi sign. Noble Transfers charge 250 Rand (about $7.00) more. Hope this helps.
