How do you find out what nights are formal on a cruise..We are scheduled for the May 14 Diamond Princess. Normally isn't the second night and the fifth nights the formal ones on a seven day cruise? Well, if that is the case on this cruise we will miss both of them because we are scheduled for the 6:30 seating for dinner and we will be on tours during both of those times..and I just ordered my husband's tux...So what do you think? Am I wrong on the nights or what?

I asked the same question on the Alaskan board, but have gotten no responses..Thought you guys might know...

Your formal nights will probably be Sunday and Thursday. Sunday is a day at sea and Thursday you're leaving Ketchikan in the early afternoon. That's what they were when we sailed on the Star Princess in 2003. Our itinerary was very similar to what the Diamond will be doing this summer.
