Hi everyone! Currently in Pt Canaveral.

The updates done during dry dock according to crew members are as follows :

Serenity area added

Casino updated

Disco lights replaced

A lot of carpets replaced

Tvs added to casino

And I just need to add :

CHEFS TABLE IS AMAZING!

Questions?

I just did the Pride's Chef's' Table in October and agree it was amazing... who was your chef?

I'm kind of surprised that that's all they did during dry dock. Although it was a great cruise, the ship definitely needed some more refreshing and the chronic problems of getting to and from ports in time should have been addressed.

Any word on why you guys left so late on Sunday?

No one is talking about our late departure Sunday.

Chrissy our chef was Ramesh. He was great!

And yes, I agree, there is a lot more they could have done during drydock. The seating in the Taj Mahal theatre is very dirty. There are minor things broken and in disrepair that just seem ridiculous to not fix.

But, the staff is great, the sun is shining and no one can complain about spending Thanksgiving on a ship! Happy Turkey Day!!

Thanks for the report! Hope you are able to keep them coming occasionally.

I am curious about the Serenity area that was added. What did it replace? Is there a fee to use it?

Thanks!

Brad

No, no new tvs in staterooms.

There is no fee for the adult serenity area. They just took the aft pool area and made renovations and added a sign. I have to give kudos to security for keeping the children out and pointing out to parents that it's adults only.

I'll post a short review after our return.

They also were still replacing carpet this past week when we were cruising.

I did notice that the TV was also replaced with a flat screen in our cabin room 7301.:D

We are sailing in cabin 7302 next week! How was the ride?
