Voltron Posted December 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2010 We were on the Gem 11/20-11/27 and my only complaint about the Gem was the long lines at the MDR and GSC tender process. Aside from that, we had a blast. I will be doing the one-nighter in January. Great Stirrup Cay Food to follow...

Boolie Posted December 2, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 2, 2010 Thanks so much for posting. We sail on the Gem a week from Saturday, same itinerary, and CAN'T WAIT!!! I see folks out in the water at GSC, so temps must have been really good while you were down there? Question, please... Did they have the parasailing offered while you were on the island? We have booked it, but understand it depends on weather, winds, etc. Thanks for letting me know if you saw it happening. Think I'll just stop eating from now 'till cruise day, so I won't feel guilty munching my way through everything in sight on the ship! Again, thank you for the pics. When you initially step into the water it's a bit chilly but you are fine in like 5 minutes. It becomes very comfortable. I would suggest water shoes because there are a lot of rocks in the water. spacepotatoes Posted December 2, 2010 #8 Share Posted December 2, 2010 Great pictures of GSC, thanks for posting! Your timing couldn't be better, the snow just started coming down here in the last 2 days. The beach pictures are a nice distraction from reality :D
