Towel Critter Posted December 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2010 Q: Is Poesia pronounced Po-EEZ-ee-uh, or Po-uh-SEE-uh? I've heard both. Perhaps someone fluent in Italian can anser this for me. Thanks!
Satincruz Posted December 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2010 This is a perfect Italian pronunciation, exactly the way the ship's crew say it: http://www.forvo.com/search-it/poesia/ You can also learn to pronounce other basic words on this site, if you want to. Capricruiser Posted December 3, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 3, 2010 I answer this every month or so. It's pronounced "Po-aay-SEE-ah" and means "poem."

You sound like me - a day late and a dollar short. On the bright side, at least you'll know next time. Happy cruising!
