Sunshine101 Posted December 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2010 Hi all! What do you do when you take an excersion that requires a cab ride and you have a 4 and 7 yo? Do you bring your booster/car seats with you? We werent planning on bringing ours, but maybe this is a must if we want to travel to a beach by cab for a day in St Thomas? Any suggestions? I'm a bit clueless as this is our first cruise with kids. Thanks for your patience! :)
cb at sea Posted December 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2010 St. Thomas has a sort of bus service...more like a jitney...no seatbelts, so no car seats needed. You don't need an "excursion" to go to a beach in St. Thomas!
crusinmama06 Posted December 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2010 For the 7 year old, no, I probably wouldn't. For the 4 year old it depends how big the 4 year old is. There are some 4 year olds that are pretty tall and would be able to fit in a seat belt. My 6 year old is tiny and this is the first year that I didn't bring her booster seat. Do you have a backless turbo booster seat? That's what we brought for a while. We only used it to travel. If you have one and your 4 year old is tiny, then it wouldn't hurt to grab it.
