sesasheep Posted December 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2010 What beach would you go to that is right near the tender dock? I know all of the great ones you have to take a ferry to but if there is an ok one closer to just hang our for a few hours that would be good. perferably accessed by taxi. good snorkling a plus but not required

There is a "locals'" beach called Cucumber Beach but it may not always open during the week. It's a part of the "Old Belize Cultural Center" and marina facilities. runner15km Posted December 10, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2010 There is a man made beach about 5 miles from the tender area. I read the cab is around 20.00 ea. way. I found 2 reviews of this place, 1 was good and 1 was bad. http://www.oldbelize.com/
