Would be happy to answer any questions! 1. Any charge to withdraw cash at the casino? 2. Any issues with using US cash at the various ports? 3. Were itinerary times (e.g. arrive Cozumel 8 am, depart 6 pm) EST or local time? 4. Did you see if any pax had an opportunity to jam with Howl @ the moon or any other of the ship's bands? How was the cruise??

All times were local time, ship time changed back an hour before Costa Maya and ahead an hour before last sea day. No info on other questions. Us2inFL Posted December 19, 2010 #6 Share Posted December 19, 2010 You can draw up to $2000 a day in cash from the casino cage. Keep in mind they put a credit card hold on any cash you take, and sometimes that hold hasn't cleared by the time the cruise ends and you have to settle up on your bill, so essentially there is the possiblity that they will "double hold" you available credit limit. erdoran Posted December 19, 2010 #7 Share Posted December 19, 2010 There was talk a while ago about a 3% charge for cash withdrawals from the casino. Seems like that has evaporated? Also, how cold was the ocean? Was it swimmable?
Pretty Woman Posted December 19, 2010 #8 Share Posted December 19, 2010 Can you tell me if there are any guest comedians on Epic We are sailing next month. Thank you.
Erwende Posted December 19, 2010 Author #9 Share Posted December 19, 2010 We were in cabins 8212,8214. My sister was in a studio 12531. Did not go in the ocean but the pool water from the ocean was chilly. Comedian was Rich Purpura. Didn't get a chance to see his show. He was a judge on Dancing with the Epic Stars and was funny. Jen McD Posted December 19, 2010 #10 Share Posted December 19, 2010 I'm sailing on the Epic in Feb. How safe did the Mexican ports seem? any issues? I don't want to pay for excursions w/ the boat, and am hoping to do things on our own, but I am worried about safety... Any suggestions for Roatan? Erwende Posted December 20, 2010 Author #11 Share Posted December 20, 2010 Roatan we did a Victor Bodden tour that included pirates of the Caribbean zip line which my sister and husband did and had a blast!!! Costa Maya was OK. We always like the $20 hour beach massage!!! Cozumel has become very touristy and full of shops! Cozumel I felt safe. Roatan and Costa Maya just stay off the beaten path.
